When Southern Living Idea House invited us to design one of the magazine’s 2009 Idea Houses, we gladly accepted the challenge of creating the perfect family beach escape. Working with Dungan Nequette Architects, we developed an interior featuring white-washed wood walls, lots of well thought out built-ins and cozy bunk beds. An elevated kitchen takes advantage of beautiful Gulf-front views while an antique mirrored backsplash reflects the scenery so that everyone in the kitchen can enjoy it.
